Senior/Postdoc – Laser-driven Plasma X-ray Sources 🔬 Ready to advance the next generation of X-ray sources? Join ELI Beamlines and develop laser-driven plasma X-ray sources, support user experiments and explore new scientific and industrial applications in an international research team. What will you do? • Operate the Cu tape K-alpha X-ray source and support user experiments • Develop new laser-plasma X-ray sources, diagnostics and data analysis methods • Develop and operate a high-energy laser and its beam transport system • Explore new applications with scientific and industrial partners • Publish research results and mentor junior colleagues What are we looking for? • PhD in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science or a related field • Experience with X-ray methods • Knowledge of laser-plasma interactions and related technologies is a plus • Strong analytical skills and a proven research track record • Excellent communication and teamwork skills What we offer • Cutting-edge international research environment • Competitive salary and flexible working hours • Career growth and professional development • Meal allowance and pension contribution • 5 weeks of vacation + 6 personal days https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/
