Junior/Postdoc Researcher – Transient Current Technique 🔬 Interested in semiconductors, particle detectors and ultrafast lasers? Join the Department of Structural Dynamics at ELI Beamlines and help develop our laser-based Transient Current Technique (TCT) station. What will you do? • Support user experiments at the TCT station • Develop new experimental capabilities • Improve data processing and analysis tools • Contribute to research through national and international collaborations What are we looking for? • PhD in Physics, Engineering, Electronics or a related field is desirable — candidates nearing completion are welcome • Strong interest in particle detectors, semiconductors, solid-state physics and ultrafast lasers • Hands-on experience with electronic and optoelectronic devices • Nonlinear optics or ultrafast laser experience is a plus • Knowledge of LabVIEW, Matlab, Python or C++ is a strong advantage • Strong analytical skills, communication and teamwork • Good spoken and written English What we offer • Research in a unique international scientific institution • Flexible working hours and a supportive working environment • Career growth and professional development • Meal allowance and pension contribution • 5 weeks of vacation + 6 personal days • Support for leisure activities https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/
